Description PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION MADE TO ORDER Extendable Dining Table with Chunky Frame in a herringbone pattern with cut corners / Reclaimed wood dining table The cut corners of the table are great when having small children running around the house and around the table with fewer chances of hurting themselves hitting the table corners, also it is a good solution for smaller spaces. This handcrafted table will make a statement in any dining room or kitchen. Materials used – mixed reclaimed wood planks, osb board, screws, nails, glue, stain, and varnish all locally sourced. By using repurposed old wood each dining table has its own character and feel, and would never look the same as another table. ——————————————– DIMENSIONS: Table height approx. – 74-75cm The width of the table is 80cm Table frame hight 9.5cm Length of the table be chosen from the dropdown menu. THE EXTENDABLE TABLE The Extension table comes with one table lea giving two size options. If you wish to have the three-size option to extend the table please contact us with the dimensions. These are approximate and might vary by 1-2 cm sometimes Other sizes can be made as well – If you wish a different size that is not mentioned in this listing, please send a message with the desired size and I will send back a price quote. ———————————————- MATCHING BENCH Matching benches can be made as well, just add from the dropdown menu, one or two benches. Benches will be made approx 25 shorter than the table so it can fit under the table.   TABLE TOP FINISH The table is sanded to a smooth finish while leaving some of the marks and imperfections of the old wood and are stained with your chosen colour and coated in natural wax or a a gloss/satin varnish at request. ———————————————— COLOURS The dining table shown in the main photograph, is stained with Natural Oak and finished with a satin varnish. This table comes with framed cut corners shape, if you wish normal corners please mention when you order. NOTE- Please consider that the colour might look different depending on the reclaimed wood used on the table, they will always have a slight difference in tones comparing to the photos. ————————————————– DIMENSIONS: Table height approx. – 74-75cm Bench height approx. – 40-42cm These are approximate and might vary 1-2 cm sometimes Other sizes can be made as well – If you wish a different size that is not mentioned in this listing, please send a message with the desired size and I will send back a price quote. ————————————————— LEGS Hairpin black legs ————————————————— IMPERFECTION Please consider that off all imperfections, such as bumps, saw marks, hammer marks, marks of paint, etc. are not considered defects, as this is the character of the product that comes with using reclaimed wood. —————————————————— WOOD MOVEMENT Our tables are made from solid reclaimed wood which has been air-dried, but the wood will continue to dry out as it settles into its new environment. You can expect some movement to occur during this time. Please note that placing your item near a heat source or exposure to increased humidity can cause this movement to exaggerate the timber’s natural features further, particularly splits, cracks and twists. Solid wood has characteristics that include cracks in the wood, knots, mineral deposits, inclusions, as well as grain and pigment variations (sometimes filler or a wood patch is required). Variations in height, width, or depth for all pieces may vary. Wipe the item clean with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Remember, the first 12 months is the toughest time for your product because it is the first time the timber has experienced the 4 seasons indoors. So once you’re through this settling period the table should have acclimatized and experienced the majority of movement you can expect. Each item is unique and no two are exactly alike. All wood is organic and hygroscopic, meaning that when exposed to air, it will release or pick up moisture until it reaches equilibrium with the humidity in the air. Because of this, all wood will expand as it gains moisture and will shrink when it loses moisture. Wood also does not shrink or swell equally in all directions. ——————————————————— PRODUCT CARE RECOMMANDATIONS We recommend to avoid keeping the table or bench too close or in direct contact with the radiator or any source of heating. This is real wood, and it will be affected by big differences of temperature. Also to be avoided humid conditions as it will make the wood expand. ——————————————————– DELIVERY Your order is shipped from our workshop in London, If the distance allows us (Mainland UK) we try to deliver in person, If it is sent by post all dining tables will come safely flat packed and with screws included for the legs. Our tables come with the legs detached and will need a 5 min assembly, it is recommended an electric screwdriver but will work with a standard-sized cross-head screwdriver as well.
