Description Desk with a monitor stand in a herringbone pattern made form reclaimed wood in a clear natural wood colour Office desk with a top shelf, monitor stand made to match the desk, with custom size made at request. The desks are built using old wood made in a herringbone pattern, light sanded to a smooth finish while leaving some of the marks and imperfections of the old wood. MONITOR STAND/SHELF The shelf can be used to hold a monitor or as an extra space for your convenience. The length and width of the shelf will be made to fit the desk, and can have a custom size at request, please mention when you order. COLOUR – Clear natural colour of the wood used This desk has a the natural colour of the wood used and coated with satin/gloss varnish at your choice. The home office desk showed in the photographs has been finished with a satin clear varnish. NOTE – Please consider that the colour might look different depending on the reclaimed wood used on the desk, they will always have a slight difference in tones comparing to the photos. This handcrafted writing/computer desk will make a statement in any home office, living room or bedroom. By using recycled wood each desk has it’s own character, and would never look the same as another one. LEGS – Black colour as Standard The legs are 3 rod metal hairpin style in black colour and they come as standard with the desk, if you wish other Colour please select the painting service as well fomr the shop and mention your desired colour Available colours are (White, Washed Copper, Gold, Black, Silver) Different type of legs are available as well, you can choose from the shop as extra IMPERFECTIONS Please consider that off all imperfections, such as bumps, saw marks, hammer marks, marks of paint, etc. are not considered defects, as this is the character of the product that comes with using reclaimed wood. WOOD MOVEMENT All wood is organic and hygroscopic, meaning that when exposed to air, it will release or pick up moisture until it reaches equilibrium with the humidity in the air. Because of this all wood will expand as it gains moisture and will shrink when it loses moisture. Wood also does not shrink or swell equally in all directions. PRODUCT CARE RECOMENDATIONS We recommend to avoid keeping the table or bench too close or in direct contact with the radiator or any source of heating. This is real wood, and it will be affected by big differences of temperature. Also to be avoided humid conditions as it will make the wood expand. DELIVERY All desks are made to order and come safely flat packed and predrilled and with screws included for the legs. Our desks come with the legs detached and will need a 5 min assembly with an electric screwdriver. Legs might arrive in a separate package.
